Note: The core game was made in a week for the Brackeys Game Jam 2022.2. It has received QoL patches but not much else.

THE SCENARIO
Your parents are heading to a fancy dinner and have to leave you behind. It's not a big deal, you're old enough to take care of yourself now. It's simple, just do the chores your parents left for you and the night will be all yours... or will it?
GAMEPLAY
This game is a short, atmospheric horror demo/prototype that dumbs down the gameplay and turns up the scares. How will you handle the obstacles laid before you? Will you stumble and become a victim, or be brave, and leave freely?
DEVELOPER NOTES
This is my first game submitted to Itch and my first game jam submission. There are many aspects about this game that I would love to improve on, but as of writing this, it's 5:00AM and I just want to get this uploaded and drink to celebrate. So, I hope you enjoy this short game. If it wasn't obvious already, I was heavily inspired by games like Fears To Fathom and the Puppet Combo titles. Really cool developers/games, you should check 'em out. Anyways, congratulations to all my fellow Brackeys Game Jam participants, and thanks to Brackeys for teaching me so many helpful things.
PS: I forgor 💀 to mention that all the low poly models were sourced from here.

hey this is a good game do you have more games like this
If you're looking for suspense, my other game "The Polaris Incident" is, in my opinion, a better horror game. It was made under a tight deadline so has little content but I think the presentation clears this games'. If you prefer the retro aesthetic though, I have a game in the works that won't be out for a while due to my busy schedule, but is reminiscent of this game.

Fun! It was kind of hard to figure out what to do, (mostly cause I forgot the list existed) but the game was fun! I wonder what other endings there are....

Good game. I got confused on eating the pizza until reading one of the comments. I almost s**t myself when the mf was there

Just as Mediasaur himself said, the game was inspired by Fears to Fathom and the Puppet Combo titles. As a first game, I have to congratulate you, at the end I was scared and got very tense with the knocks coming from the main door.
With this game you can already have an idea of what to improve, such as soundtracks, a menu to help content creators (I, for example, accidentally clicked and had to quickly Alt+F4), perhaps putting it in a more pleasant way to open the doors, etc. Anyway, congratulations Mediasaur, the game is really fun and provides good suspense. is it controller supported?
To be honest, I have no idea. Some features may work with controller but I might have to go back and add that. I'll put it on my todo list for the game.

Home Alone! A short horror game about doing chores at home. It was fun, had trouble eating the pizza and questioned if I have been eating pizza wrong all these years. Had fun playthrough, enjoyed that it was really quick to get both endings, the doors where cracking me up at times.
The scare got me pretty good! I wonder how many events I missed because caught the "killer" during my second run through.
Didn't really hit me with too much creep chill vibes but can see how it might if silent, home alone, ambience gets to you, so might be able to be creeped up somehow.

Muchos se quejan pero personalmente se me hizo super bueno, los graficos y la facilidad es buena para pasar el rato y es perfecto para los que son como yo que se espantan con todo jaja te mantiene en suspenso pero sin hacer un jumpscare que me saque el alma (agradezco eso) aunque el final si fue como ??, pero en general me encantooo :)
Fue difícil recopilar todo lo que dijiste ya que no hablo español, pero me alegra que hayas disfrutado el juego al menos un poco.

1. Take pizza out of oven (careful, it's hot).
2. Place pizza on cutting board.
3. Eat slice-by-slice

Just a boring rip-off of the first Fears to Fathom chapter with nothing worthwile.
I do like the aesthetic, but unfortunately there really isn't anything new. I guess the shattered glass and heavy breathing did make me tense up though lol
